Santa = God
It’s not hard to think outside the box, just take a popularly held axiom and say the complete opposite of it. There’s already a 50% chance you are right while everyone else is wrong! For instance: gravity isn’t real - just our perception of it. We’re actually all randomly floating matter and our brains organize it in a way for us to comprehend where we are at any given time. Now that isn’t a popularly held belief - but it’s no where near as strange as a giant, bearded, omniscient man keeping score of every person’s good and bad deeds…..I’m talking about Santa Claus of course. Who did you think I was talking about? Oh, God!?
I just don’t understand how we as humans are able to deny the existence of Santa while still believing in God. If you ask any adult about Santa while a kid is around you say Santa’s real, because the kid is supposed to believe in Santa, right? If you do the same thing with God you’ll get the same answer, but when you take away the kid, the adult’s answer is still the same — he’s real! What’s the difference? They’re both essentially the same guy right? Am I to believe that we’re all hypocrites or all still children? I just don’t see the difference.
And don’t get me started on what happens when your rearrange the letters in Santa’s name. T__T
