This is quite possibly the most hilarious scene from the old sixties Batman. Well, okay, isn’t every scene from that series completely ridiculous?

This one may take the freaking cake though. Just watch.

My Breakdown of this video:

1. Okay first of all what the hell is batman doing out in the middle of the ocean probably miles away from Gotham? Besides that it’s during the freaking day! Batman only fights at night.

2. Is it just me or did Robin TRY to dunk Batman into shark-infested water?

3. Wow. Batman must be naturally delicious to sharks because he got bit within .2 seconds of hitting water.

4. Aaaaand it’s gnawing on his leg. Cool.

5. Gotta love the super convenient and oddly specific Bat-Shark repellent! Batman’s like the ultimate boyscout. Did he know he was going to be fighting sharks? Does he always just carry around “Oceanic Creature Repellent”? I wasn’t aware sharks were such a common problem in Gotham.

6. So now Robin is going down this ladder to HAND the repellent right to Batman. Extremely slowly. And who, may I ask, is FLYING the helicopter while he does this?? I’m guessing it’s on Bat-Autopilot.

7. Finally Robin hands the damn shark-repellent to Batman. What follows next is the greatest 10 seconds in TV history.

8. Batman sprays that shark likes a granny being mugged, and it falls.

9. The Shark hits the water and EXPLODES. Why? Do we need a reason? That’s just pure awesomeness.
